Glenmorangie
Situated at Ross-shire in Scotland, the Glenmorangie distillery is famous for its production in exotic Scotch whiskies. Possessed by “the Glenmorangie Company Ltd” the distillery has been dealing with a range of single malt scotch whiskies. Grouped as one of the highland distillery, it has the largest stills in all over Scotland, and is obtainable only in 18 and 25 years bottlings, cask finish and specific cask bottlings, additionally matured and a selective range of special edition bottles. “The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society” and “the Ardbeg Distillery” also falls under the Glenmorangie.
History
In the year 1738, the production of this exotic drink was initiated at the Morangie Farm, followed by a construction of a brewery, which initially had shared the water source from the Tarlogie Spring. William Matheson had a previous work experience of a distiller manager, and in the year 1843, he took over the farm, transforming the Morangie brewery into a re-constructed distillery, that had two distinctive gin stills. This was later on named as the Glenmorangie distillery. Following, to its growth, in the year 1918, the distillery was bought by its customers, Macdonald and Muir of the Leith firm. However not differing from any other brewery of Britain, Glenmorangie also had to suffer from 1920 to 1950, the reason being the pribition, which was also followed by the Great Depression all over the United States, that incredibly reduced the sale figure for whisky. Subsequently the drastic depression came to an end along with the Second World War, leaving behind the scarcity for barely and fuel. However by the year 1948, the distillery had overcome all the loses caused by the war, and thus started operating on a full fledge. Subsequently with the addition of four more stills and two other vessels for fermentation, the distillery expanded its production by 2002. Thenumber of stills were however increased to twelve by the end of 2009. Moet Henessy Lois Vitton, after possessing he distillery, appointed Tayburn to redesign and reinvent Glenmorrangie giving more curvature to the bottle, and by renaming few of the versions. The whiskies that had a woody finish, were renamed such as “The Quinta Ruban”, “Nectar d’Or” and LaSanta”. When calculated on a global basis, Glenmorangies has a 6% share in the single malt market.

The Original:
With and ABV of 40%, this exquisite blend has a combined aroma of ripen peaches and citrus, with the subtleness of vanilla. With a sip, the mouth is exploded with vanilla, followed by the freshness of floral fruitiness.
The bottling is finished with an enchanting and long lasting aftertaste, along with traces of peaches and oranges. This lemon gold colored pale drink is a result of slow maturation for 10 years in casks that had held bourbon before. This especially air-dried barrels enhances the exact blend between complexity and sweetness. The end result is an elegant and matured liquor, which is exquisitely soft, mellowed down and a luscious creaminess.
EXTRA MATURED:
Quinta Ruban:
After maturing for 10 long years in oak casks from America, this exotic drink is matured further after being transferred to hand-picked port pipes. This strong whisky with depth, has a perfect blend of sweetness along with dryness that is left win the mouth, in addition to the contrasting smooth and crispy nature, that also gives a cooling feel. The non-chilled version, with an ABV of 46%, has a mint chocolate aroma, complimented with Seville orange and tangerine mixed together with hints of walnut and sandalwood followed by the spiciness of nutmeg and pepper. The palate is filled with a taste of dark minty chocolate, along with walnuts, that lay the base for a subtle taste of rose mixed with sugary oranges and a Turkish delight. This rose gold colored drink is finished with a lingering silky aftertaste leaving behind hints of orange and dark chocolate in the mouth.
Lasanta:
Referring to warmth in Gaelic, Lasanta goes through a long maturation for 10 years in American barrels that had held bourbon once, this elegant whisky has a full body texture. Following this process, it is again aged for an additional of two years in Spanish Oloroso casks of sherry. With an ABV of 46%, the drink has a warm scent of spiciness, along with soft raisins, covered in chocolate and caramelled toffee with honeycomb. This exotically sweet flavored drink has its syrupiness derived from the sultanas, the walnut, butterscotch combined with orange segments. This warm spiced drink has a satisfying and extra-long finish along with an additional texture of hazelnuts dipped in chocolate. The light russet color itself gives it an extraordinary look.
Nectar D’Or:
after being aged in barrels that were handpicked from the Sauternes,
that is famous all over for its creation of sweet wine, the drink gets flavors such as richness, spiciness and somewhat similar to a dessert taste. Along with a 46% ABV, the drink has a rich scent of fruits, covered with the intense spiciness of nutmeg and coconut. The hints of nutmeg along with ginger and roasted almond, gives the drink an intense taste mixed with sugared lemon margarine that covers the honeycomb, making it appear at the background. This honey gold colored drink has a smooth
and long finish, along with traces of lemon zest, creamy vanilla, milk chocolate and nutmeg along with ginger.
Astar:
This elegant cream scented drink, rich in toffee, sprinkled with menthol, the spiciness of cinnamon, enhances the complex smell of honey lemon and mint. Being a non-chill-filtered exotic drink, has an explosive taste of pineapple in the mouth, with the freshness of apricots and pears, with hints of vanilla flavored custard. The bottle has a bright gold color and a lingering
smooth finish with a mixed texture of almond and honey, tinges of aniseed and coconut ice. With an ABV of 57.1%, and a perfect maturation in perfect oak barrels, slowly it creates a soft and woody taste.

Artein:
a traditional whisky that created from the stone. Dr. Bill Lumsden, who was astonished by the
contribution of stone as a part of natural ingredient especially when it is a special item for whiskey creation. This resulted in manufacturing a rich whisky with 46% ABV, this drink has an excellent fruity smell with traces of mint and honeysuckle. Complimented with outstanding traditional traces of stone, it has explosive taste of roasted stone fruits such as plums, peaches and apricots and hints of spearmints along with cherries dipped in to milk chocolates.
SONNALTA PX
After being matured slowly for 10 years, in white oak barrels from America, the exotic drink was then moved to Spanish casks, for further being matured for two more years. One of the first of the renowned Private Edition series, Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX is selectively chosen amongst the head of the creative team Dr. Bill Lumsden’s, ‘cabinet of curiosities’. With an ABV of 46%, the non-chill version has an aromatic smell of raisins covered in chocolate, and hints of demerara sugar. With time the scents of ginger combined with traces of vanilla and roasted almonds come out. With one sip, the mouth is filled with fruitiness followed by a heavy and sugary pudding with ginger sprinkled along with cinnamon. The bottling is finished with a deep gold color in such a way that it has a rich flavor added with sugared prunes, dry raisins and creamy toffee.
FINEALTA
Created as a result of the meticulous recipe at 1903, Glenmorangie Finealta is aged in a consolidation of American white and Oloroso sherry kegs from Spain, the drink has a very unique taste with a soft peaty touch reminding of the fact the Glenmorangie initially dried their barely in peaty kiln. This exotic whisky has a caramelled peach and orange dipped in liquor are immediately revealed with a sip, pursued by candied almonds and raisins, with hints of lime and abstract wood smoke. With an ABV of 46%, the whisky has a taste of marmadale, mandarin and traces of cherried brandy, complemented with spiced ginger and nutmeg just before, the mouth is filled with frosted sugar, violet and crunchy meringue. The drink is finished with a deep amber color and rounded smokiness along with the lingering of balanced minerals added with the subtleness of powdered and flowery scents.
18 YEARS OLD
It is an exotic single malt whiskey, of complete distinctive. After being matured for 15 long years in white oak barrels from America, and then 30% of the total volume is then transferred to Oloroso kegs from Spain, and are aged for additional three years time. After a total maturation of 18 years, they are then mixed together creating a rich and full whisky with a much rounded taste. Thankful to the fine aging process in the Oloroso kegs, the raisined sweetness from sherry is slimmed down by the nutty texture of the American cask. The ABV of 43%, gives a rich round and sweet taste complimented by dried fruits and a complex flowery scent. This is followed by hints of woodiness along with figs and dates. The bottle is finished with a honey gold color and an indulging and attractive texture with a sweet fruity hint of soft nuttiness from the Oloroso barrels.
SIGNET
Around thirty years ago, the mating process was done on the site and the liqueur was aged in a hand selected version of the best casks from all around the world. Thus matured in the same way and then distilled, this exotic whisky collection has an ABV of 46%. With a scent of distinctive Aruba, mixed with plum pudding, rich sherry and sugared peels of orange, this exquisite drink has a contrasting flavor of sweet and crackled spiciciness added with the bitterness of mocha. Finished like a minty breeze of spring with citrus texture of green lemon.
25 YEARS OLD:
This amber colored drink has a full flavor complimented with forest frutiness burst in the mouth along with blackberries and the emergence of redcurrants with the bramble jelly. The dried fruity
aroma is also intense when added with cheeries, blueberries, dates and plums, mixed with coffee and chocolate. this gold colored spirit is one of the oldest in the Glenmorangie series, and the long finish is a result of the prolonged maturation in a series of barrels containing Oloroso, American white and French Burgandy barrels as well. After this, they are mixed in equal quantities. This complex and exotic drink has an ABV of 43% and are fused with warm spiciness.
