About Mojito:
Mojito, peculiar for the minty taste, is one of the most famous coctktails in the world. Low on alcohol content (about 10% by volume), often it is the first cocktail that a person tries. Given its minty, sugary taste, it is also liked a lot by ladies around the globe. It is combination of sweetness from cane sugar syrup, citrus from lime, mint flavour from mint leaves and alcohol in form of rum. There are several versions of mojito, presented below is the basic mojito with white rum and soda.

Ingredients:
- 2 parts White Rum
- 3 parts Soda
- 1 parts Lime Juice
- 1 parts Sugar Syrup
- Mint Leaves
- Ice Cubes
Preparation:
- Wet the rim of the glass and create a salted rim
by dusting it with salt - Take sugar syrup and mint leaves in the glass
and muddle it - Fill half glass with ice cubes
- Pour Rum and Lime juice in it
- Fill up with soda
- Garnish the glass with Lime wedges
Trivia about Mojito:
- Mojito (pronounced as mo-hee-toe) takes it name from African word ‘mojo’ – which means casting a spell. It is believed that African slaves working in sugar cane fields in Cuba created this drink in late 1880s
- 1 glass of mojito can provide up to 9% of daily requirement of vitamin C, thank to the citrus (lime) content in it. Also it contains vitamin A, calcium and iron too
